In this dreamscape the sunset and an approaching thunderstorm conspire to create a moment of glory. Set in the landscape of the desert southwest of the USA, Cathedral Rock is an international landmark of Sedona, Arizona. That afternoon my tripod was set in Oak Creek with Cathedral Rock in the distance, to the northeast. "Sunset on Cathedral Rock" is from two of my final shots, taken in a stream of light as the low sun was covered by the thunderhead. The power of this print takes over the room when I exhibit it. Viewers invariably exclaim, "the depth of color and extraordinary detail transport me to Sedona." It will do the same in your home or office.
