I rose before dawn on a day just after the vernal equinox to climb from the Cayuga Lake Valley floor to this, the last large waterfall before the Buttermilk Creek cascades though inaccessible water carved chutes. Beautiful photo with nature's stairs and those made by man that blend in. Wonderful composition and colors, and my eye keeps going back to the waterfall. There is a feeling of a special sanctuary, a place to contemplate. Thank you for joining my fan club.
