September Scholar in Cascadilla Gorge
50% of my profits from sales of this photograph on ImageKind will be contributed to the fight against Cancer. This iconic bridge and waterfall are cherished by generations of Cornell students and alumni. When you hike Cascadilla Gorge you traverse 400 feet of elevation from the foot in Ithaca, New York through the climb out onto the Cornell University Campus. In that quarter mile are six major water falls. Here is pictured the arch of the College Avenue bridge over the creek, over the fall at an end point of the gorge path. On a stormy September afternoon, at sunset, I climbed to this spot to find an exhausted napping student. This moment lasted literally seconds before the student awoke and rain and darkness overwhelmed us.

Beautiful! I like how you added the person which gives the falls a great sense of scale.
